I just love to cook, and I know you do too! Various Anime and Manga have posted recipes for great food, and I'll put the especially tasty ones here!

This recipe comes from Ringo Chan's 'Delicious!' Recipes, a site where they've translated all of the great recipes that were printed in Kodansha. The site is now down, but the info lives on here. Thanks guys!

Banana Cake
Ingredients: (8 cm cakes - four servings)

130 g. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pc. egg
100 cc. milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1 pc. banana
some cooking oil
a little lemon juice
heavy cream, banana, mint leaves (optional)

Procedure:

1. Beat the egg, milk and sugar in a bowl with the use of a wire whisk.

2. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture.

3. Cut the banana into small pieces and mix into the mixture.

4. Put some oil into a frying pan.

5. Put 1/4 of the mixture into the pan until it shapes into a circle. Use medium flame and wait about 2-3 minutes until there are a lot of bubbles on the cake. Then, flip the cake to cook the other side for 2-3 minutes. Cook the rest of the mixture the same way.

6. Put a cooked cake on a plate. Put some whipped cream on it. Sprinkle some lemon juice on the banana to prevent it from changing color. Put some banana slices on the cake and some mint leaves. You can add any decorations you want.

Ringo's note: Use ripe bananas for this dessert. You can also add some sweet wine into the bananas so that they will have a nice smell. Do not refrigerate the remaining bananas, just keep them in room temperature. Enjoy!
